Happy Thursday!
This morning, I blogged the first of many classroom set-up tips over at iTeach First !
Please hop over to read more about WHY I chose these tips...
I also explain more in this blogpost :)
I wasn't brave enough to post a live video over at my Periscope...
I need do one soon!
Although I have a long love affair with using the clean and crisp look of black & white in my classroom, it is NOT dull! I feel it's the perfect backdrop for my students' masterpieces,
plus I do add some primary colors:
Have you see these in Target Dollar Spot?!?
I picked up ALL of them because for $1.00! I don't actually "need" 2-+ for my small groups, but I realize they may not last forever (plus my students are very "enthusiastic" about their materials!).
When I do add colors, I only use primary (easy to match again!) and I always make sure to have enough of each color! Only one red? No thanks! I don't have time to "choose" who gets red today.
BTW - on my first trip, I only saw ONE red, but the awesome Target lady found more. She must have children. #gratitude
What would you use these bins for? I'm planning on making individual "early finisher" trays differentiated for each of my friends. They love having their "own," and I love being able to meet their exact needs!
Please stop back...I have more tips coming soon!
Thanks for reading, Jen
