Happy Last Week of Summer Break!

(Yes, staff returns July 29th!)

It's also the hottest day ever...it was 86 degrees when I went to the gym this am (and this was before sunrise...now it's 90+).

Today is my birthday (!!), so I treated myself to a little blog reading and I have to admit, I literally groaned when I saw Fun in First Grade's blogpost title...I just CAN'T spend any more money! But I have a feeling that's exactly what's going to happen as I read through everyone's posts!

There's SO many things I "need" to help the school year run smoothly, so I decided to narrow it down to my "happy" items that keep me together when things get a little crazy (i.e.: October):

I'm sure Flair Pens will make many teachers' lists! 

Special Education. 1st Graders. 

No explanation needed :)

I use any and all scented markers...Mr. Sketch, Crayola, etc.

I'm a little obsessed with any kind of lip balm! I always have at least 2 stashed everywhere...my bag, my teaching cart, my purse, my pocket!
