Happy Wednesday!
I'm linking up with Freebelicious to share a wonderful idea!
I can call this idea wonderful because it's not actually my idea...
it came from a wiser, more experienced teacher who probably took pity on me my first year :)
This idea is so simple, but yields BIG results
(in the form of happy, engaged writers!):
Ta-dah!
That's it! I gathered up ALL my mix & match envelopes, stationary, index cards, scrapbook papers (solids)...and added this sign (printed on bright yellow cardstock):
There's 2 formats and a brief description.
This is a huge hit...who knew first graders had so many people to write letters to? I had to revise the center sign after the first month to add "ONE" paper and envelope :)
I've spent millions hundreds on writing centers that I carefully laminated and cut out each piece. This center is easily the most popular, yet took me less than five minutes and was FREE!
Please take a moment to visit Freebilicious...
there's so many wonderful tips!
Have a great week :)
