Five for Friday & a Freebie!

I realize it's not Friday anymore...
but I'm only a few hours late to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching:

Here's my 5 random thoughts for the past week:

1. Did you know UGG made these??

I snapped this photo at dismissal. These belong to a stylish third grader (I asked her if I could try them on - they are SO warm!). Must. Have.

2.  Check out this reader!

I never have to remind my students to track when we use monster fingers :)

3. My coteacher is a genius:

We are on round 2 of dry erase markers, thanks to a generous donation!

4.  My math wizards tackled 3-digit numbers this week:

 They rocked it!

If you would like these 3-digit cards, click here!
If that didn't work, try here :)
There are 30 cards total.

And the best for last...

5. We scored a surprise half day yesterday!!!
Students had an early release day (12:15 pm) and teachers had professional development until 4:30 pm.  We had a scheduled workshop that was postponed due to weather = we were allowed to leave when the students left! It was such a great surprise for a Friday!!

(BTW - I have no idea what happened to my font after #3...can't seem to fix it!)

Don't forget to catch up with other bloggers by linking back to Doodle Bugs!

Please stop back tomorrow - I have a huge math freebie to share!

  1. This is first time visiting your site, it looks fantastic! The Ugg gloves look like they would keep your have toasty. My kids love the monster fingers too!
Oh to have a generous donation, I'm the only one that is making generous donations for my class. lol Thanks for the place value freebie, we just took a test and I found out some of my kids didn't know base ten blocks as well as I thought they did.
