Appreciation Freebies!

 Happy Tuesday!

I've been trying to write this post and I keep stalling...

I woke up on Sunday to something simply amazing! It just gives me chills (and writer's block) to think about it! I cannot put it into words!

It started on Saturday with a series of donations to my Donors Choose project. There were so many of them! They were from students who were donating the individual proceeds from a fundraiser! What an awesome message for my students :)

Then, my bloggy friend and Jamberry-expert Christi Fultz commented and generously made a donation (thank you!!). Because of her kindness, I woke up to three more donations and a fully funded project!

I just can't believe it! It feels so weak to just say "thank you."

Please know how valuable your donation is. I work in the highest poverty area and my students desperately need these supplies to help them grow as readers. We live and breath by the phrase "demographics do not determine destiny" and that education will unlock their futures. Now they are also learning firsthand that actions can make a difference in the world and kindness matters.

I got chills just from proofreading this post!

Such a tiny token of my sincere appreciation...here's 2 versions of a Certificate of Appreciation we're using for our parents at our ascension ceremony. The left bottom corner contains our school emblem, but I figured none of you would really want that ;)
