It's good to be back!!!
I just returned from a full week in Houston...
a fantastic trip full of team and family, and TONS of learning.
There's sooooo much to share, it will take a full week of blogposts. I'm not sure where to even begin...thank goodness for Farley's linky party!
Listening - I can't stop watching this!!! Right after I log off from this post, I'm downloading the Phillip Phillips song :)
Loving - I taught piano/early childhood music for 15 years and now starting my 5th year in special education. I'm incredibly grateful that I feel SO psyched about kicking off another year. Every year just gets better!
Thinking - OMG, I slept AMAZINGLY well several nights in a row while I was out of town! There were four days I slept a full eight hours straight. I need to find out how I can duplicate that here at home.
Wanting - missing a day of blogposts this time of year is like missing 5 days. And I missed 7 - that's A LOT of catching up to do! And I have a feeling it's going to be expensive with all the wonderful B2S ideas I'm seeing :)
Needing - Ugh, my keyboard is still acting possessed. This blogpost is taking twice as long to write! Any ideas before I break down and buy a new one? Everything I'm typing seems to be appearing delayed on the screen...like it can't keep up with me. I appreciate any helpful hints!
1st day - I returned July 22nd. Yes, that's correct. Is it terrible that I don't know when the students return? In 2 weeks? 3? We have a mini-summer school session for two weeks before full days kick in.
Please link back to Farley to read more!
Have a wonderful Saturday :)

Love the shots of kids learning in vid. I take it you are a KIPP teacher. Thanks for sharing. Kathleen

Isn't it wonderful to get a good night's sleep?? I seem to have nights in a row when I just crash and don't stir all night, and then a few in a row waking up every hour. If you learn the secret of staying asleep for a full 8 hours let me know!
