I LOVE this time of year! I just stocked up on Pumpkin Spice from DD, moved my fall sweaters to the front of my closet, and started printing my autumn & Halloween activities!
Mel at Graphics from the Pond created the perfect way to celebrate the season: a Spooky Linky! She generously organized this linky and emailed us the cutest lil' ghosts. Our role was to have fun creating something spooky & link back! Visit her blog to see a huge variety of teaching materials featuring these friendly figures. TONS of fun!
Here's what I created:
Our general educators include daily spiral review for math (love it!). They use interactive flipchart slides featuring number sense activities, counting, & review of the past weeks' skills.
My students benefit from this whole group activity, but also need a little extra practice :) "Guess the Number" provides more experience with exploring number relationships using vocabulary, such as greater than/more than, between (such a tough one!), and less than. My students also gain experience writing numerals and using the 120s chart.
This freebie includes a spooky 120s chart (plus a non-themed chart for printing), 4 activities printed on full-pages (I use these for modeling), and 8 half-pages for partner pairs or independent work (I laminate for dry erase markers):
full-page for modeling (write the number on the ghost) |
half-page printables |
Pick it up for free right HERE!
If you are looking for more practice all year 'round, I have an expanded Guess the Number activity pack featuring 40 more numbers!
Happy Sunday!
This sounds like a fun linky!! I'm going to have to head over and link up! Thanks for the freebie. :)
