Glitter Meets Glue...Rocks!

Oh, yeah...I have a blog!!

Soooo sorry for the long delay! I have maybe 100+ things to share, but have literally not sat down at my computer for non-school related tasks in over a week! Real life came crashing (plunging? catapulting?) down in various forms AND the 2012-2013 school year finally exited this Wednesday (complete with a 3-hour IEP meeting on the last day of school!). As soon as the reality of not having to go into work on Monday sets in, I promise to be back with almost-daily updates!

I did want to stop by to give an shout-out to a true CLASS-ACT!

I know you already know all about her & ♥  her, but may I take a moment to share just how wonderful she is?

Per usual, I have been indulging my clipart and font obsession and snapping up everything chalkboard, chevron, and more. Then I found out that I'm going to be sharing my office space with 2-3 other special educators/interventionists next year. Not that I'm stingy with my space...but are they going to like the new color schemes I've chosen for next year (you know, the pressing issues)?

After an long internal debate and an eyeball inventory on my ink supply, I decided to stick with my fave black and white (zebra!). I used it last year and it lend itself well to blending in well with various themes, plus I was able to incorporate other colors using assorted cardstock.

Long story even longer...I kindly asked Glitter Meets Glue Designs for a black & white paper pack:

Lo and behold, she uploaded this paper pack the NEXT DAY!!!

There are TWELVE amazing designs (9 more than I could think of!) and she priced the pack at THREE DOLLARS! That's.Just. CRAZY. $3.00 for all I will need to make my entire office/classroom look ready for my firsties in August?? I'm forever grateful!

Here's a sneak peek at what I'm working on:

Hopefully, I'll have the finished result uploaded by the end of the weekend!

Happy Friday!
