August Currently!

#405 is not that bad!

 

I know I'm late to link up with Farley for Currently (August, really?), but I have the best excuse...I was in Vegas all week getting professionally developed (& seriously inspired!).

 

So better late than never:

 

 

Listening - Estelle was a surprise guest to close out our conference! I've always loved her, but didn't realize how involved she is in education. Wow!

 

Loving - I've been back at school for 1.5 weeks and the students arrive in one more week. I'm SO thrilled to feel as excited as ever for the school year to begin. If you had asked me that in June ...

 

Thinking - school is on my brain 95% of the time

(eating is the other 5%)

 

Wanting - I ♥ my printer but the cartridges are wicked expensive & I need to head out to get some more!

 

Needing - I've created sooo many new files and updated existing to reflect all the needs of my new caseload. Now I just need to find a chunk of time to upload them! Maybe tomorrow.

 

B2 Must Haves - 1. A planning system (electronic, a planner, etc.) is a must-have; it's crucial to start off the year right! 2. I printed out all of the I Can/We Can cards and put the essential questions on the back before laminating. I'm so excited to use them!

3. Coffee. Always!
