Happy Almost New Year!
Now that I've been back in town for a few hours, unpacked, and had several cups of coffee...I'm ready to tackle my list of projects to get ready for 2014!
My amazing supervisor always says "If it isn't written down, it didn't happen!" This is such an important message for special education, RTI...actually anything related to teaching!
This school year I made a big push for my little firsties to take on some of their own "heavy lifting" by using student data notebook activities. However, I thought I was being super-savvy and used most of my printables in those awesome plastic sleeves...so the evidence was often wiped clean! Now that I'm reflecting on my (lack of) work samples and preparing for the new year, I realized I really need to focus on using more paper-to-pencil printables to document my students' growth.
If you feel the same way, please link up your favorite printables (paid or otherwise!). I'm adding in my own "Snow Day!" Printable Packet and can't wait to see yours! Thanks for linking up!

This is a great idea! Gets me thinking about my tracking charts for middle school and how they could use some improvement.... :)
ReplyDeleteI found you on the TPT forum. I'm new to 'linking up." Thanks for the opportunity! I'm also following your blog now. :)
