Happy 5 for Friday!
Thank you Kacey for hosting!
I'm so happy to announce my classroom is 99.9 percent ready!
There's one wall that has me baffled and my bins just need their labels attached. Everything else is done, thankfully!
This was our second week of PD...lots of content teams, training (character education, behavior management), etc. with a little work time and more meetings thrown in. I'm definitely looking forward to the students arriving soon!
I'm not sure when to present my gifts to my teammates (and I really hope they're not reading this), but I can't wait to show them:
These little half-page cards were so much fun and EASY to prepare! I shared the step-by-step directions over at the Ellison Education Blog today. You can also download the card template (freebie)!
Do you exchange any gifts or RAK during this busy time?
I'd love to hear your ideas!
I saw so many crafty ideas for both gifts and for my students to create on Pinterest. Please visit my Positively Crafty board to check them out:
I didn't even get close to sharing five things about my week,
I will try to do better next time!
Have a fantastic Friday!
Your little gifts are amazing! I wish I would have seen this two weeks ago :( They're going to love it!
ReplyDeleteThat card is adorable! Love it :)
ReplyDeleteYour team will definitely love their gifts! It came out so cute! I've been working in my classroom too, but I'm nowhere near done. I guess it's a good thing that I don't go back until Aug. 25th.

What a cute idea! I usually buy a huge bouquet of flowers and make smaller arrangements for the other kindergarten teacher's desks... but I'm thinking the need for caffeine may trump the need for flowers the first week of school :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

Those gifts are really cute-- and really useful!
