Happy Full-Moon!
Did anyone else see this?
Haha, thank you Erica!
This week is FULL of activities...observation lesson, a VIDEO (!!) for a training, field trip, IEP meetings, and our holiday parade. There's sooo many Halloween and autumn activities I wanted to share with these firsties and we are running out of time!
Every year, our school has "Dress Up Like Your Favorite Book Character" day with a parade around the inside and outside of the school. Our students s-t-r-e-t-c-h their imaginations and wear their costumes...hoping there actually is a book that matches, lol!
We've had grade-level teams put their creative minds together and come as a cast of characters from a books series (i.e.: Arthur).
Every year, I wear the same outfit:
Yup, I'm a zebra!
And I probably will be a zebra for the rest of my teaching career ;)
How does your school handle costumes and holiday festivities?
In honor of surviving celebrating the holiday, I've put my favorite Halloween activities on sale!
And the packet I've been using all month long for Guided Math:
ALL Halloween and autumn packets are 20% through Friday October 30! be sure to stop by my store to check out more Halloween freebies here, too!
Thanks for reading! Jen
