This is how we do it!

One more day of standardized testing!!! C'mon Friday!

The first grade teachers I work with are fantastic. This is the first year we have had promethean boards in the classroom (thanks to a very generous donation!) & they have been amazingly resourceful and creative with them! Besides using flipcharts for interactive instruction, they are also employed for celebrating successes.
Here's one of their favorite ways...dancing!


Now that it's April, these students are SO good at the dance moves! I don't even attempt to try to keep up. When I previously did, my students just seemed embarrassed for me :(  And there's always the 2-3 that try to slow down and help me! They absolutely love the dancing & think of all the skills... following directions, listening, physical activity...definitely a win-win!
