TPT Treasures Intro

I'm starting a new series of posts. . .
I'm going to call it TPT Treasures (unless someone
comes up with a much more clever name for me!).

I joined TPT as a buyer and only decided to become a seller
when I found myself creating products to meet my students'
specific needs. I will NEVER reveal how many products I have
purchased because I'm just not ready to admit I have a problem.
That will just be between Paul & I, and Paypal :)
And it's all for my students anyway, right?

As I've previously mentioned, I have bought way more
than I could ever afford to print & laminate. I've decided to
start now & print at least one file a day so I don't get
overwhelmed during back to school season!

As I spend hours printing, laminating, & cutting,
I'd like to highlight some of the fabulous treasures I have found.
Most I have already used in quick-paper-print style
(a.k.a. the b/w printer at school). I like to try out the activities
before I commit to using all my ink & laminator pages!

SO, this was just supposed to be an intro,
but I CAN'T WAIT to get started...

The first product I'd like to highlight was a HUGE hit with
my small groups! I had been eyeing it for awhile
because of the graphics & snapped it up during the
TPT Teacher Appreciation Sale:

It's the CUTEST set of CVC and CVCe cards from
Jeannie Parten of Kindergarten Lifestyle.
You can pick them up for your students here:

I'm slightly nervous about using the sword graphic,
what do you think? My students were super-excited about
the ninjas & eagerly wanted to read from the cards. I plan on
using them next year, maybe I'll just omit the sword cards!

I will be adding these featured products to my
TPT Treasure Pinterest board - I'll see you there!

  1. I have the SAME Problem! I've downloaded and even bought tons of stuff that is just sitting on my computer waiting to be downloaded. I should have done the same thing you did this summer with doing one thing a day. Now I start school on Monday so maybe next summer? LOL!
