My students continue to teach me SO much!
Many of my students have goals & objectives related to fine motor skills, so I have always included some type of playdough sculpting activity (plus it's fun!). I don't usually use playdough stencils or stamps because 1) they can get yucky with dried playdough and 2) I like the idea of my students rolling and forming the letters/numbers.
Last week I brought out the sculpting for the first time this school year. My students LOVED it and thought it was more of a reward than a literacy activity (win-win!). I used my Sculpt It! CVC Words & realized quickly these students could benefit from some practice in letter formation.
So I'm adding this freebie to the unit:
To pick up your copy, click HERE!
If you have already purchased the unit (thank you!), I just reuploaded it to TPT with the practice page :) The adorable playdough graphics are from Teacher's Clipart, who is also celebrating 100 followers with a costume linky party!
Check it out here - congrats Oxana!!
My students have also been teaching me about other things..like Frankenweenie. Have you heard about this? It took me awhile to even understand what word they were trying to say! Luckily a quick google search cleared things up for me :) As a special request(s) from my students, we will be working on our action verbs with my latest unit:
The activity pack includes 48 noun and verb text cards, sorting mats, mini-posters, game cards, & 3 activity pages!
Hope you have a super Sunday & wonderful teaching week!
I found you from Classroom Freebies! What a great freebie!
