We had a field trip yesterday to the Maryland Science Center. I was going to post pics last night but was seriously too exhausted! Plus it was my anniversary & I received a BIG surprise:

 

 

I got my new car!! Mr. D surprised me in a fun way - the perfect gift after a long day on a field trip! It was super exciting!

 

As far as Valentine Day celebrations,
I have to admit we aren't doing that much :/

 

We've been using Valentine's Day vocabulary, themed manipulatives, and red/white/pink paper for the past two weeks and the general education classroom teachers are hosting a Valentine's exchange & party this afternoon. As far as my small groups, I printed Reading A-Z books (Level E: Hugs) on pink paper and we'll be doing a making words activity (my Power Hour's first one!) using the word "Valentine." That's it, I'll do more next year!
