Show Us What You Bought!

I was going to be sooo good during the Super Sale, but per usual...I couldn't resist. I did remember to use the promo code (this time!) and I strategically planned my feedback credits :)

Besides clipart, clipart, and more clipart, (can you say Ashley Hughes, Pink Cat Studio, and Little Red?), I also purchased something else I'm truly EXCITED about!!!

Before I reveal, here's some background info:

I can barely use scissors and struggle with glue/tape/anything. It's been a problem since kindergarten and was even noted on my report cards. There's no known cause/explanation for this. I have fine motor control - I've been a pianist for 30+ years! But this problem persists :(  It's why I create products that don't require too much cutting and the lines are as thick & obvious as possible!

I recently went on a school visit in D.C. as part of a Special Needs conference. One thing that really stood out was ALL of the outstanding student work displayed EVERYWHERE - in the halls, in the classrooms, & even on the ceiling! It was so impressive that I inquired about it. A teacher shared with me that their special education team really pushed for the students' work to be highlighted in such a creative and colorful way. I also believe that students will respect and honor their school (& school walls) much more if their work is proudly displayed.

Here's a couple pics I snapped:

Students' writing about The Rainbow Fish

sooo simple, yet fun!
After this conference, I really felt determined to fill the blank bulletin boards we have all over our school.
I was so thrilled to discover these two products:

They are both from Babbling Abby,
who I would love to follow around for a day!

Here's what I'm working on from the above purchase:

This is the current state of my office floor. Does anyone want to guess what I'm making? I hope to be done with it BEFORE winter is over :)

I can't wait to show you the finished product!
