Another Spooky Start of the Week!

I ♥ this time of year! I have a feeling all of my "Manic Mondays" will have a similar theme.
Classroom Freebies Manic Monday
It's already time for our end of unit assessment for math! We are always practicing, practicing, practicing with our number bonds, number sentences, counting (they're getting it!), etc. Everyday I seem to be putting a new spin on similar materials & it works! My students are highly engaged in the activities even when 1) it's rigorous and 2) it's repetitious. Click here to download my latest:

I place the number bond math mat in a plastic sleeve and cut out the adorable witch number cards. I place 2 number cards on the mat: 1 in the total and 1 in a part. We count on (or use themed mini-erasers) to find the missing part. These number cards and number bond could also be used in a variety of "Common Core" ways :)

Have a super week!

  1. This is such a cute way to practice finding missing addends. Thanks for sharing.
