I've definitely caught the elf-fever!
As I anxiously await this to arrive from Amazon:

I spent time perusing pinterest and collected ideas I can't wait to use with my reading intervention group!

After Thanksgiving break, my intervention group only meets 12 times before winter break (bummer!), but I included extra ideas to last the whole month. The big take-away for my learners is writing in our Elf Antics journals. I plan on adding visual writing supports as needed - stay tuned!
Are you using similar ideas this year?
Thank you for sharing this great resource! Last year, I bought a little doll from the Christmas section at Target to use as my elf. My students loved finding her all over the room. Once, I was even able to move her while they were all busy working on their seatwork! I also love your elf board on Pinterest. Have fun with your elf!
