Happy Monday!
I didn't get my weekend post in for the first time that I can remember! I have a wonderful "excuse" :)
I'm still knee-deep in this Power Productivity Program - it's a game-changer! I'm absolutely loving it...the steps are incredibly easy to incorporate and the videos are fun & inspiring! I think the biggest takeaway I have since starting this project is "hope!" I was planning on tackling projects here and there between now and spring break, but I got too excited and redid my home office this weekend! So I'm blogging right now with an uber-cute view from my new & improved work space :) Pictures coming soon!
If January was all about testing around snow delays, February is all about school visits and observations! I'm observing weekly as part of a Teacher Development Leader program and a Learning Walk within the Special Education Department. I'm also being observed for the Learning Walk and a school visit initiative. It's going to be a busy, busy week!
I'm so thankful for all the wonderful resources I've been finding on Teachers Pay Teachers lately. These talented teachers are saving the day for my students & I! I simply haven't been able to create enough to upload. Life is moving so fast...I have half-finished units all over my Dropbox! Hopefully I'll be able to bundle them all up soon!
I wanted to leave you with something to think about...check this out:
Iconic Figures in Black History
and
their blog: Because of Them We Can
Have you seen this yet? Many of our teachers have photography from Eunique Jones Gibson displayed in their classroom. POWERFUL!
