Happy Sunday!
Huge bummer to already be down a hour when there's so many activities going on in the blogosphere!
I just finished reading all the blogswaps & entering giveaways. FUN!
When I log off here, I'm headed over for this encore of
Bright Idea's Blog Hop!
I'm not sure of the starting place, but here's where I will be starting. The last blog hop was the equivalent to attending 10+ professional developments! I seriously learn SO much from these talented teachers!
Now here's my BIG news!
I was cyber-chatting with the super-sweet Christi Fultz of Ms. Fultz's Corner (I'm sure you all know her! ♥).
Several months back, Christi had a few pictures of her adorable nails using Jamberry. I tried to ignore them...I've been down the expensive nail trend path so many times before. After a couple more weeks of drooling admiring these cute designs, I finally broke down and requested a sample from Christi. She responded ASAP (I really don't know how she does it!) and the rest is history.
Speaking of history, here's my sad, pitiful nail background:
I have the WORST nails known to mankind.
That is not an exaggeration. At all.
They are simply awful. My cuticles grow fast and my nails grow slow. My nails REPEL nail polish. It will literally bounce off my nail. Maybe it doesn't exactly bounce, but within hours my nails will already be chipped! Gel manicures are a slight improvement, but they average only 5-7 days and are time-consuming (& expensive!).
I really didn't have high hopes for Jamberry Nails. I was worried about trying the application (I use the rice bag method) and that they wouldn't last. But it can't hurt to try a free sample!
Here's the results...I was able to apply the free sample in less than 3 minutes and it lasted TWO weeks! That sold me, so I ordered 8 wraps using the Buy 3/Get 1 Free deal. I will admit my first few manicures had mixed results. They all looked super fun, but only lasted about one week. My first try also took me about 25 minutes to figure out!
Now fast forward a couple months...I'm able to apply a full set in about 10-15 minutes (!!!) and every single manicure lasts longer than the previous one. I'm up to about 11 days now and I'm sure I'll reach a full 2 weeks soon. And if you don't have the world's worst nail issues, you will most likely not experience the same learning curve. I've ordered several more sets and plan to stick with it!
Here's why I ♥ Jamberry:
Cute Factor - the designs are absolutely adorable! I receive no less than 5 compliments per week on my nails! Pre-Jamberry: I received ZERO compliments on my nails!
Time - this is HUGE! My weekends are work time and I don't have any extra time to go get a gel mani! I can do a Jamberry manicure quickly any day of the week - no appointment necessary! Big observation lesson on Thursday? No prob...I can apply a quick mani Wednesday evening while checking my email ;)
Savings - the savings are EPIC!!! My gel mani was $35 with tip and my Jamberry manicure is approximately $8! And they look better! If I had any nail talent, I could probably get the savings lower.
Customer Service - I have nothing but glowing remarks for Christi! She's been easy to reach, fun to talk to, and my orders always arrive before I expect them. Christi also runs fun contests! Be sure to follow her on Facebook...there's a March bracket contest going on that I just entered! Outstanding customer service makes me a happy return customer :)
BTW, I'm not consultant nor plan to be one at this time.
I'm simply a customer who loves this product!
