Show Us What You Bought & Currently!

Happy Weekend!

This post is two linky parties rolled into one.

The first linky is always a favorite...I love reading Blog Hoppin' & seeing what everyone else found! Please take a moment to visit the links, you will find so many awesome recommendations!
There's nothing better than "teacher
(and most importantly, student)-approved."

I did not use much restraint this time around for the big sale. I'm not proud, but I am beyond excited for my students. I found some truly incredible resources! Here's just a few faves...I'll have to post many more TPT Treasures to share the rest!

Lyndsey Kuster's Let's Take a Closer Look - We're both in MD, I hope we get a chance to meet someday!

Latoya Reed's Show What You Know - exactly what I needed!

I can't even go into the clipart...I'll just post this:

Enough said!

I'm also linking up with Farley for Currently: March!
I follow Farley on Instagram, as well as her blog (which has an awesome new look!) and she has the BIGGEST heart, spunkiest sense of humor, and an adorable family she loves.
Thanks Farley for hosting this monthly party :)

Listening - to nothing...which is unusual & I'm loving it!

Loving - Life is good! I try to stay in a state of gratitude most days & today is definitely one of them. I don't think I've ever worked as hard as I have this school year with full implementation of Common Core and new exciting leadership responsibilities at school. With some new opportunities, I'm also receiving outstanding and supportive professional development.
It's always awesome to be in a position to grow and learn.
I'm very thankful!

Thinking - I've got a new "plan" for my Guided Reading Independent Stations & it's rolling out this week. We are two weeks in with our new groups and ready to step it up!
I'll snap tons of pics in the next few days - stay tuned!

Wanting - I admit I want a snow day on Monday. I'm SUPER psyched to get to school and celebrate Read Across America, yet I have so many projects ready to go that I could really use more time to work on them. We have some kind of ice-snow combo heading our way Sunday night but I refuse to check the weather this early.

Needing - Our spring break starts April 14th.
That's not soon enough! This past week, our students acted all cabin-feverish. March is going to be interesting!

Answer: Sweet Pea. Question???? Any guesses?
I feel like it's super obvious!

I'd love to hear from you!

  1. I want a snow day soon, too. Neither of us must live in areas where schools have been closed a long time already.

  2. NO MORE SNOW!!! I can't take it!!!

Snowmageddon has added 5 more days to my school year already!! Makes me so sad.

I am curious about how March will go. Our Spring Break is the same as yours. And we have 2.5 weeks of state testing this month.

I am praying my kiddos don't go banana's!!!

I am thinking that "Sweetpea" is a childhood nickname of yours. Or a term or endearment you say our hear often. Am I close?

  5. You are ALL right!
I've been using the Sweet Pea scent from Bath & Body Works for so many years & the term of endearment followed :)
Thanks for all of your comments!

I am so excited to see all of the amazing things that all of you are going to be doing for Read Across America so I can take it to my school and tell them all about it so we can do it next year!!
