A Stylish Currently: May

Happy May!

It's time for Currently sponsored by the talented Farley at

Listening - oh my, I'm listening to everything from Iggy Azalea! I can't help it - it's just fun music to work out to. Runner-up is the Frozen soundtrack. I have no explanation!

Loving - I've had so much fun putting new spring outfits together this week! If you knew me, this is HUGE! With Common Core, behavior intervention plans, and all the other school priorities swirling around in my head, I usually spend 0 minutes or less thinking about my wardrobe. Please check out my "surprise" for more information!

Wanting - Yesterday was simply amazing! It was the first day our students had outdoor recess this week & it made SUCH a big difference for them to run around in the fresh air! I hope it lasts!

Needing - YAY! I finally inherited an ipad from my school to use with my small groups. Unfortunately, it's a first generation. While I pursue Donor's Choose for an upgrade, does anyone have any terrific app suggestions (educational) for Ios 5.1.1? I'll be spending more time on it this weekend and share what I find.
Thanks in advance :)

Surprise - there's soooo many teaching blogs I enjoy reading and gleaming inspiration from, but I wanted to share (again) about this terrific new blog I recently discovered:

Please visit Alison and prepare to be inspired! I joined her Spring Challenge and it's seriously been a game-changer! The idea: you receive a list of wardrobe pieces (tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories) and then everyday you receive an email with the day's outfit! It's for 21 days and the outfits implement pieces from the list. Highlights - the outfits are very mix and match, you'll be repeating all the pieces in new and different ways. Alison also "differentiates" and offers alternatives to each outfit. Even better...the list of pieces are probably already in your closet! I already owned more than half the list and the fun add-ons were from Target, Old Navy, and Ann Taylor Loft. It's helped me get out of my rut and added some fun to my wardrobe. It's also made it SO much easier and faster to get ready in the morning and what teacher doesn't need that?!? I'm already on an email alert list to sigh up for the upcoming summer challenge!

Thank you for reading my Currently!
Please visit Farley to read about everyone's surprise! I can't wait to learn about their favorite blogs and add to my list!

Have a terrific Friday!

  1. Thanks for sharing such a fun link! Teacher blogs are great but sometimes it's nice to have a break from all things school related and catch up on a bit of 'real life'. I'm off there now to read some fashion tips!
