Easy Peasy Holy Moly Freebie!

Happy Wednesday!

Hope you're having a fabulous week!

We have 18 "official" school days left, plus one additional day the staff stays (June 17th). But after our students' ascension ceremony on June 11th, attendance drops way, way down. All grades and final testing will be completed and uploaded on June 6th.

So close, but so, so far because of everything that needs to be accomplished before then! For the past 2 weeks, I've been squeezing ALL content into the hours before lunch and then individually administering the NWEA (MAP Testing) in the afternoons. My lunch and planning period is busy with wrapping up Special Education paperwork, including writing a few initial IEPs before the window closes. We have an internal audit for SpEd on June 12th and then I can officially relax!

It's such a crazy time and I'm kind of losing my mojo for all my usual tasks. I can't even think about starting to pack up my office and teaching materials! I hope that mojo returns soon! Instead of being productive, I've been taking a creative break and teaching myself how to create clipart! It actually started as a "need," do you know how hard it is to find a funny looking avocado character?!?

Please click this link to download these two lovable friends!

I have always used the phrases "Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy" and "Holy Moly Guacamole" when working with my firsties. Now they say it, too! I've inserted these colorful clipart characters into many of my phonics activities...including sorting by "easy" and "still tough" (my students make that decision) and also as the "good" and "bad" cards for small group games.

I posted this clipart on Sunday, but since then taught myself how to make frames (procrastinate much?)! I just uploaded the revised file at my store, please download and let me know what you think!

Thanks! :)
