Happy Tuesday!
I'm linking this post up with TWO parties!
The first is Mrs. Jump's Class:
I wanted to share a book we just used for our American Contributors Common Core Comprehension unit:
Have you ever read this?
I have to admit, it wouldn't have probably crossed my radar if it wasn't one of our assigned books, but I'm so glad it was! Throughout our unit, we explored informational books, like the biographies about Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as Abraham Lincoln. It was a great experience to use a literary text to also learn new information about this important contributor.
I know we're only supposed to share one book per week, but here's another book we explored that all of my students adored:
Absolutely hilarious! And although this book was chosen for our comprehension unit, I wouldn't hesitate to add this to our everyday read aloud collection.
The 2nd linky I (regretfully) discovered is:
I can see this linky get me into a lot trouble this summer!
I just put 2 of my back to school faves on sale - 50% off for today only!
Super Sentence Builders - only $1.25 today!
This packet is 56 pages for only $1.50 - you'll be able to use this on the first day of school and all year 'round!
Have a fantastic day!
