Happy Monday!
I'm really not sure if I should ever link up with all of the crafty, talented teachers over at 4th Grade Frolic's Monday Made It, but if I make anything that can be effectively used, I'm happy!
First, this happened
Step 1 - Gather Ingredients:
rubbing alcohol, white rice, pasta, food coloring
(and coffee, lots of coffee!)
Step 2 - Ugh, this is when I was wondering if this was even going to turn out! I poured one cap full of the alcohol and a few drops of food coloring into a plastic gallon bag. Pour in about 1 cup of rice, seal and shake. Repeat with pasta:
Step 3 - C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y pour out ingredients
onto foil sheets or wax paper:

I dyed various shapes of pasta and rice to use for sensory activities.
