Currently: Welcome November!

Happy LONG Sunday (extra hour!)!

I'm linking up with Farley for Currently:

Listening - It's November, so it's no longer too early to be watching (listening to) holiday movies! We travel for the holidays, so we aren't too big on gifts, cards, and decorations. But we totally make up for it with Christmas music and movies.

We have so many faves...from "old" classics (Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas) and "new" classics (Elf, Christmas Vacation). Right now I'm listening to Four Christmases (♥) while typing. Have you seen it? Then you will understand what "mistletoe" stands for...we totally do this at weddings, parties, etc. Anyone else?

Loving - November! I'm not going to lie...October was a really tough month. I'm SO happy to be done with it and moving forward :)

Thinking - I've been working with Honey Bunch Blog Design for a small tweak to my blog design. Stay tuned...

Wanting - I finally found the perfect flannel shirt...I've tried on so many this season. I'm loving the long, but slim flannel with skinnies, boots, and puffer vest. It's becoming my uniform this season! My favorite flannel is from Old Navy - be sure to order down a size.

Needing - I'm enjoying an extra hour this weekend, we have Professional Development (no students) on Monday, and school is closed for Election Day. I'm so happy to have time to catch up on my to-do list, so I don't need a single thing!

Reading - I'm ready to start reading Show Your Work:

Thanks for reading - here's a little freebie to kick off the month!

  1. Thanks for the advice on the flannel shirts! Your go-to outfit sounds super cute! I'll also have to check out the "Show Your Work" book, that's been my unintentional motto this school year, it's like a reflex now. Anything that I can do to encourage my kiddos to show their work and save my sanity is greatly appreciated! :)

  3. So many of those Christmas films I haven't see or haven't seen in years! I really must change that! Maybe a Christmas film marathon one weekend in the next few weeks! Have a good week.

  4. I came over from Manic Monday! Four Christmases is great. When someone in our family is trying to prove a point, we yell, "Google Me, you might want to look me up sometime Barbara." Cracks us up constantly!
    Have a great week,
