Happy Almost-Friday!
I love the theme of this linky hosted by the fun new collaborative Primary Powers:
I've been practicing daily gratitude for years now and at times, I can be get a tad ridiculous (I'm thankful for drinking water! I love my pillow!). However, I really can't recommend it enough - it helps me appreciate all the opportunities and privileges I have and miracles literally seem to jump out at me.
I work in a high poverty urban environment and I'm reminded at least 10 times a day, every day, that I'm so incredibly blessed.
So with that warning, I did manage to narrow down my list
(I was running out of space):
And if you are reading this...I'm thankful for you, too! It's been a very challenging school year and blogging has been incredibly therapeutic. I've enjoyed sharing and learning from all of you!

Aww! Blogging can be therapeutic... Best of luck for the rest of the school year!

Thank you! Kind comments like yours help so much :)
DeleteI totally understand a tough year and I admire you using blogging to power through! (I actually started a whole new blog this year after a rough last year for pretty much the same reason - it's therapeutic!) Thanks for sharing your list! I love reading all of these thankful posts!

Yes, this linky came at the perfect time! I also love reading everyone's positive lists. Blogging has been a lifesaver this year :)
DeleteOh, I can't believe I also forgot to thank Donors Choose under my thankful list. They do so much for us teachers! I also blogged about being thankful for books! You won't believe some of the crazy stories my aunt who teaches in China tells me about what she can and cannot read!

I can honestly say that the generosity of donors has transformed my teaching - no exaggeration! This year I received an ipad to use with my students who need a differentiated response format (using technology) - I'm forever grateful and in awe that strangers have reached out to help my students :)
DeleteYou have a lot to be thankful for!!! I hope the rest of your year goes smoothly! :)

DeleteI always wonder if I should switch it to more bright & primary colors, but I love the soothing palette.
