Linky: Reflections on 2015

As we get ready to say "So Long!" to 2015,
here's one last look at a wonderful year...

Thank you Hadar, Traci, and Kristin for hosting!

This was a "do what must be done" type of year...6 classes (done!) and model portfolio (84 days left!). This means I spent almost ALL of 2015 with my nose in a textbook, counting down days, and drinking lots of coffee!

But it's my LAST hoorah of my career development
 and it's almost done!

Did I mention I only have 84 days left?

Here's a snapshot of my organizational skills in July 2015:

It's color-coordinated and labeled. With ribbon!

And...here's an update:

That monstrosity lives in my kitchen!

My countdown is prominently displayed for sympathy.
Classy ;)

I have a HUGE bucket list of everything I want to do when that special day arrives in March. One hint...SLEEP is at the top of the list!

It was still a fabulous 2015! Whenever I put the books down long enough, I jumped on a plane to sneak in a few trips!

Every year, we make sure to travel to see our families. This year, we went to Ohio in June to celebrate the life of my father-in-law. I'm so glad to have known him and we miss him so much!

My favorite place on the planet! We visited Redington Beach THREE times this year and getting ready for Trip #4.
CAN'T WAIT!

Florida feels as much like home to me as Baltimore. I have my gym, grocery store, favorite restaurant, favorite band...and of course, the BEACH! Here's some pics from our October trip:

His feet, not mine!

We went to Vegas for the TPT Conference! It was SO, SO fabulous, we are already booked for 2016!

To say I loved EVERY.SINGLE.MINUTE of that trip would be a huge understatement. I learned, I laughed, I lounged (not really, that was him...Mr. hung out at the Palazzo pool the entire time!).

Side note...I got the courage to walk up and introduce myself to one of my all-time fave bloggers Kristin! I was gushing about her Readers Theater (♥) and was definitely crossing into stalker-mode. She acted like I was perfectly normal - she was sooo sweet!
Thanks Kristin!

Here's a few fun pics from Summer 2015:

This was the special moment when Paul asked me my name. And I swear I didn't know it :(  I said "Um, it's Positively Learning. I mean Jennifer! Jen. My name is Jen." with lots of nervous laughter.

UGH.

There's something new on the horizon...coming very soon (days!)!!!

And I haven't even mentioned my students! Last year challenged me like no other. I can say it was a wonderful experience now that it's over and my students had a successful year :)

This year? I am BLESSED with the most precious class ever. It's like a  gift year that makes me so happy to be their teacher.
I'm incredible thankful!

Thank you so much for reading!
I'd love to hear about your year! Please link up and share :)
