TGIF!
It's a rainy Friday morning here and the first time I've woken up in my own bed in a week (well, that didn't sound so great, but I've been traveling!). A perfect morning to tackle my huge to-do list and link up my favorite pins!
What would we do without Cara from The First Grade Parade? Thank you for hosting!!
Do you use task cards?
I actually don't...yet. I ♥ the idea and really the only reason I haven't incorporated them is 1) I'm not sure if my young firsties would be able to access them independently and 2) the high quality cards I've researched have used itsy-bitsy font that my students would struggle with.
Any ideas? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
If you have task cards that you think would work, please leave a link in the comments.
You have to check out Honey Bear Lane!
What I love about this pin is the fact that I probably own something similar to all of the components. I just need help putting it altogether! If you haven't clicked the link yet, DO IT! There are TWENTY-SIX fashion ideas featured!
3. I'm sorry that I can't find the original source for this pin:
I haven't made this yet, but I just love the color combinations and style. I did google "onehappyteacher" and found this awesome blog, but a quick search didn't bring up how to make this awesome storage set.
4. I must find these containers since I use base ten blocks in small groups almost every day!
The source is The Bomb-Diggity Classroom (haha) and in the comments it says that the containers are at The Dollar Tree,
last year :(
5. My last pin is from my Positivity Board:
'Nuff said!
Have a fantastic Friday!
Great idea for task card organization! Thank so much for sharing that pin...

I saw the containers for the base ten blocks at the Dollar Tree in Parkville (right on Joppa Road) not too long ago. I'm planning to organize my blocks that way too.
