TGIF!!
I hope you had a fabulous week! I'm sharing my camera roll for a "wordless" addition of:
Thanks Kacey for hosting us every week!
The "wordless" is because I'm still in crazy-back-to-school mode...even though we've been back for a month!
My week started like this:
That's my hard drive (school laptop)!
Luckily, it was fixed and my week only got better!
An alphabet "game"
(performance assessment)
Phonemic Awareness: Segmentation
(with acorns, why not?)
Magnetizing with Tara West's materials :)
Math fun...always!
And a little retell with Deanna Jump's and DeeDee Will's fabulous Guiding Readers bundle! I loved teaching it and best of all, my students LOVED it! Whew!!!
This weekend will hopefully include catching up on rest...I hope I won't be so "wordless" next week :)
The acorn activity is too cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the acorn! I have a super low reader this year (4th grade ELL). I've done different segmentation activities but I think this may help him stay engaged.

Magnets, acorns, and missing addends represented by eyeballs? Can't beat that! It looks like your students had a wonderfully fun and productive week. Have a great weekend.

I love the way you used pictures to create a mostly wordless post. Very easy to read and filled with creative ideas!
