Awhile back, I had the honor of being bestowed with the Liebster Blog Award...twice! Thank you very much to Scipi
( http://gofigurewithscipi.blogspot.com/) and Ms. Fultz (http://msfultz.blogspot.com/)! It was very nice to have my low-key teaching blog recognized :)

What's the Liebster all about?
According to my google search, liebster is German for "favorite" & these are my next steps:
1. Link back to the person who gave it to you (done & done!)
2. Post the award on your blog for all to see! (done!)
3. Give the award to 5 of your favorite bloggers (with 200 followers or less) (done!)
4. Leave a comment on your chosen blogs to let them know that they have been given the Liebster Blog Award (to be done!)
Step 3 was a lot of fun because I had the opportunity to discover some new blogs! After reading so many great posts from terrific teachers, I would like to recognize the following:
Tammy at http://www.123teachwithme.com/
Her teaching blog is FULL of fantastic ideas for the PreK-Grade 2 classroom. She generously offers many freebies along with creative ideas to implement them.
Science, Etc. at http://kimberlycollingwood.blogspot.com/
I'm so happy to have Science, Etc. on my blogroll because I know absolutely nothing about science, yet my students are fascinated by it! Her site is beautiful & be sure to check out "My Travels."
I SO want to be in their classroom! This blog looks like a ton of fun & has such creative ideas. It's clear these 3 teachers are having a blast!
Corinna at http://surfinthroughsecond.blogspot.com/
This teacher is from Hawaii, so I need to become close friends with her & visit :) Seriously, her blog rocks & is full of awesome ideas to be put in place in your own classroom a.s.a.p!
Ms. Rachel at http://teachingmelodies.blogspot.com/
I'm totally rooting for this blog because 1) her teaching ideas look so fun and 2) my background is teaching music & I would love to learn some new ideas to incorporate melodies into my special education position! Please go check her out & become a follower!
There were so many other great bloggers out there but many had already (deservedly) built a large fan base. I have no doubt the above 5 will be joining the ranks very soon!
