Day 2: Crafting and Creating & OLW

Today is Day 2 of Blog Hoppin's 2014 Resolutions Linky!

This first part will be very, very short because it's "Crafting" and I don't have any talent in that area. At all. I have many, many supplies from all my summer Pinterest fails the past few years to prove this fact.

Here's the one exception...I did make this in the fall:

It's one of those teacher-toolbox-things!

It turned out well despite wearing Krazy Glue on my fingertips
f-o-r-e-v-e-r! I think the only reason this crafty project worked out is because it involves organization, which I ♥ ♥ ♥.

The other topic for today is "creating." I know it's very obvious what I spend time creating, but I do have MAJOR plans for my TPT shop. Major. As in many items will be leaving my store soon as I narrow my focus a bit more. It's what my caseload requires and where my brain (& heart) goes...I always create with my students' needs first and foremost. It'll take awhile to revise and update because it will take time, and that is something I don't seem to have. I have created possibly 25+ units with this new focus in mind over the past year, but won't be uploading them until I'm 100% satisfied. Most likely it will be next summer after I've had time to reflect on my students' progress. It's so hard to be patient!

I'm also linking up with Sunny Days in Second Grade for
My Truth Monday: OLW: One Little Word.

I ♥ reading others'...so inspiring, so creative. My OLW?
Not so much, but it's definitely my theme these days:

"GO!" - as in "Go Get 'Em!"  and "You Go, Girl!"  :)

Please be sure to visit tomorrow - it's
my all-time favorite topic for Blog Hoppin'!!

See you then!

  1. Love your toolbox! I keep telling myself I need to get one of those. My desk would be a much less cluttered place!

Your OLW is awesome. It might be a "little" word, but there's a lot of power behind it!
