Happy Wednesday!
Very sad news...The Fall Style Me Challenge ended last week. This means I'm left to figure out what to wear on my own, lol. In the past, this would have sent me immediately to here or here, where I would search for any outfit based on black pants (which I own an abundant amount) and in my size. I'm the person who will buy an outfit off a mannequin because it's already put together & one less thing I need to make a decision on. Can any teachers relate?
But while I'm sad the challenge is over, I haven't (yet) resorted back to my old ways. This was my fourth challenge and my new favorite. At the end, Alison sends out a pdf of the printable outfits. The idea is that you're supposed to "start over" with Day 1 of 21 and wear the outfits again. I really enjoyed these fall outfits, so I'm totally taking her advice (while I patiently wait for the winter challenge!).
I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy, The Mummy Chronicles, and these fabulous bloggers to recap my faves:

Who knew I'd ever wear a "dressy sweatshirt?"
I wore this black/white striped top so many times. I must have deleted the pics with either the leopard scarf or flats - love mixing patterns! I also unearthed a "vintage" black/striped (thicker stripes) J. Crew top from the back of my closet to keep my fave look going...how is that for saving money? :)
I love the look so much, I even wore them as tights!
Just kidding, sort of...this is part of my Halloween costume. Our school has a Book Character Parade and every year I dress up as a zebra from How The Zebra Got It's Stripes.
Some students thought I was Marty, too :/
I have some exciting news to share...coming soon!
Here's a little sneak peek for now.
I've been working hard on it...learning a lot & having fun!
My other exciting news is that I finally finished my
NWEA "Show What You Know"
MAP Quick Questions for Primary Math.
I've been working on it since last school year!
Every question is student-tested (multiple times!) and approved.
Here's a chart included in both the Reading and Math sets.
It's also available as a free download in the preview
(use the links above and click "preview"):
Both sets use the same template, so you can "mix and match" reading and math.
Last year, I used these cards primarily as "check for understanding" and extra practice. This year, I've been using them more as warm-ups and in our daily journals. There's over 400 questions (half-pages) in each set, so they could be used both ways (and then some!). Whether you're using them as cards or copying the pages for journals, it's easy to differentiate using the listed RIT bands as a guide. I've already updated the Reading pack once to insert additional cards. I'm sure I'll be adding more to both sets as my students progress through the RIT bands.
Here's a chance to win the bundle!
Please hurry - the giveaway ends
