Wordless Wednesday
Happy Wednesday!
It's been an emotional week here in Baltimore :(
The scenes you may have seen on national media are of my students' neighborhood and yes, you may have seen some of my students' families, neighbors, or even our students participating.
BUT please keep in mind, the media doesn't show you how
AMAZING the majority of the citizens are...they are courageous and resilient. They do care about our city and condemn the acts of violence. Here's a link that I believe realistically shows what's going on.
These are GOOD people that I care very much about and it's hurtful to hear the names being used to describe the people who made such horrible, destructive decisions. Those people are hurting terribly and need prayers desperately.
This is the #realbaltimore I have the
privilege of seeing on a daily basis:
I only wish I could show their sweet faces!
Today, I have a blogpost over at Ellison Education Blog to show off my students' hard work a little bit more :)
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll see:
I'm linking up with Miss DeCarbo for Wordless Wednesday:
Thanks for reading!
Looks like great activities, hoping things get better quickly!

Praying for your loved ones, students, and their families. They're so lucky to have a teacher like you who cares so much about them and keeps them engaged and happy. Hoping you enjoy the rest of your week!

Thank you for your post. It is true that the media shows many of the negative things out there. I appreciate hearing from somebody who is there.
